Launch of Workday Adaptive Planning on April 12

We are pleased to announce today’s launch of Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive), a pre-launch component for UCF’s Knight Vision program. The implementation of this budgeting tool is a result of the partnership between Academic Affairs, Administration and Finance, the Huron Consulting group and the UCF community.

The Adaptive system is an enterprise cloud-based solution that consolidates financial planning, budgeting and reporting into a single platform. Adaptive will integrate with existing UCF data sources, provide for more efficient, analytical and reporting capabilities, and support the transition to the new UCF Budget Model. For details about the new UCF Budget Model, visit the UCF Budget Model Redesign Initiative website.

This solution is one of the university’s first major steps in transforming the way we deliver services and collaboratively meet the needs of our community. To quote UCF’s Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Gerald Hector,

“With Adaptive Planning, we will be better positioned to enhance our recording, summarization and reporting of budget and finance information. Additionally, greater transparency of data inputs will provide windows into all aspects of how we plan our finances for each fiscal year.”

We want to thank all of our staff members involved in the implementation of this project. It is through your hard work and dedication that we were able to successfully launch this new solution to build transparency and collaborative financial planning within the UCF community.

We encourage our user community to take advantage of our continuing training opportunities. Please explore the official UCF Adaptive Planning webpage for helpful resources, common questions and our security access requirements.
