Workday Security Terms
Security Group
A collection of users or objects that are related to a specific group of users. Access to a Security Group grants a user access to specific securable items in a security policy.
Business Process Security Group
A business process security policy secures the steps and process-wide actions including view, rescind, cancel and correct. It specifies which security groups have access to each action.
Role-based Security Group
A security group that specifies one organization role and includes workers in positions defined for that specific role.
User-based Security Group
A security group that is assigned to individual workers. In a security policy, it grants access to the securable items to all members of the group.
